92 Legacy  Modified By Elwood on 8/24/2010 12:22:07 PM

Here's a project that has been sitting around for a few years.

....serial # G031*** so I'm guessing '92.

Maybe it's an employee guitar, the writing in the pickup cavity says "B B " and "Chun King".

The piezo system isn't working, the alnico's sound fantastic. The dark blue /black paint has aged to a nice dark green.

I'm thinking about putting her up for sale, but after dialing her in last night she plays real easy...darn you G&L :)

Where the heck did you find that? Man, you guys amaze me!

The writing in the neck pocket has me wondering if maybe it wasn't built (quietly) for BB King. Hmmm...

The frets look new.

What does this all mean? Anyway, thanks for sharing this Elwood! - ed

I bought her on ebay a few years back,

I have no clue as to the writing.

Was buffalo bros. around in the early 90's ?

I'm going to make one more attempt to fix the piezo saddle system before I make a decision on wether to keep her.

I sold an aria pro ll LP copy to a guy a couple years ago and I have the option of buying it back....so I need to let something go.

I have an early style SC3 with a humbucker at the bridge that I will be putting up for sale (relatively cheap due to the humbucker mod)...I'll post it in the for sale section here before I go to ebay.

Have a good evening Ed,

I have discovered she is wired in stereo, for a TRS jack to separate the piezos and alnicos...with the alnicos still functioning with a regular 1/4" jack.

It never occured to me to try a TRS jack.

The piezo saddles have a sort of nylon string sound to them. I'm going to play her some more, she might be a keeper .

That's funny about the jack. I don't think it would have readily ocurred to me either.

So, you miss the Aria? - ed

PS: Have a great weekend!
