Amazing 1997 pre-Pantheon Bourgeois Slope "D" acoustic guitar in excellent condition. This is the predecessor to Bourgeois' "banjo killer" Slope "D." Beautiful bearclaw sitka spruce top with mahogany sides and back and "snakehead" headstock. Some light fretwear & very slight scraches on the pickguard. Thanks! And yeah, Dana's work is indeed incredible! A friend of mine (my employer, too) has an OM (forget the exact model) that he uses for fingerstyle playing, and it's the sweetest sounding acoustic I've ever played. Wish I had one. I'd keep the Slope D, but I recently purchased an '08 Bourgeois Sig D with an Adirondack spruce top with Madagascar rosewood back & sides, and it gets sweeter by the day. The Slope just doesn't get as much "play time" these days.
